Vietnamese fishermen circa 1965: Memories of Vietnam 1965 1975
Scenes of peace in a country at war. On the coast of South Vietnam, probably Phan Thiet, about 1965, courtesy of John Hanson, Decca Navigator Systems.
Phan Thiet was the home of Green South Station, Decca Navigator. I moved there in 1968 a period when a large part of the town was destroyed and the Vietcong used the fishing boats to launch rocket propelled grenades at us.
