Phan Thiet, 1965/65
A quiet town, far from the thunder of war. At least when these photos were taken that was the impression one might have had. Peasants going about their everyday lives. But that was often the way of it in Vietnam. With the coming of night the whole atmosphere changed. Or sometimes in the day the locals vanished and everthing became spooky. and sometimes all hell broke loose be it day or night.
