Old favourites from long ago. Memories of Vietnam

Favourite singers of yesterday. These old cassettes date from before 1975. Probably the late 1960s. I was very happy when I was able to safeguard the music on CDs as the tapes had become very fragile. I now learn that the CDs only last on average 5 years. What is to be done?

The cassettes are very fragile. I'm trying to thik of a means of preserving them on CDs but it appears they only have a lifespan of five years. I'll try to get back to you.
