At the seaside. Cap St. Jacques. Cochin China. Memories of Vietnam

A photo without any redeeming artistic qualities. That could only be of interest to the people in it. Except that it shows a family group by the sea. The date was about 1940. The place would have been called Cap St. Jacques. The country Cochin China, part of French Indochina. Shortly the Japanese would arrive and take over the country from the French and the rest is of course history. The place would change its name to Vung Tau. The women would change and so would fashion.
